| [atrb=background,http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac107/NeonZebraz1212/-%20TABLES/lionpeltB.jpg] The ginger she-cat sat in the rocks with her tail wrapped around her paws, waiting for her black-furred apprentice to show up. It wasn’t that he was late, or anything, she had just shown up early. She wanted to make sure that she was prepared for the training that was going to take place today. She didn’t want to be late for the training session. Lionpelt had always thought that it was better to show up early than to show up late. Besides, it was a nice day. Sitting out in the sun like she was, was a nice way to relax. The feeling of the sunlight against her back and heating up her fur was just something she rarely got to do. The she-cat was constantly busy, so the few minute break was great.
As Lionpelt waited, she thought over the plans for the session. The black cat was nearly a warrior, so there really wasn’t much more for the tom to learn. Now it was all about practicing; making everything just shy of perfect, if not perfect. They’d definitely work on a few moves. She couldn’t think of anything that he really needed to work on, so she’d later ask him if there was anything that he felt that he needed to work on. It was always easier to train when the one needing practice was doing something that they wanted to do, and if Ravenpaw wanted to work on a particular move, than Lionpelt would help him in any way she could.
There really wasn’t anymore hunting skills that she could teach him, either. The apprentice was definitely good at hunting and was a fast learned throughout his whole apprenticeship. She often set him off on his own to hunt now, so she could assess what and how much he brought back. Lionpelt definitely had nothing to worry about on that department. He was fast, like most WindClan cats were, but he used his speed fully to his advantage and was great at it.
Really, overall, Lionpelt was happy with her apprentice. The deputy had nothing to worry about. When it came to her apprentice she was lucky. Sometimes the apprentices were really a hassle to deal with. Some of them would back talk their mentor, or just completely ignore them. They wouldn’t follow the orders and they would just laze about. Ravenpaw was a good listener, though. He did what he was supposed to do, and with little to no complaining. Lionpelt was very grateful and proud of her apprentice. She knew that she soon needed to talk to the leader about him becoming a warrior because it was about time. He was old enough and he was ready. Lionpelt could tell that he wanted to, too. Ravenpaw trained hard and it was about time that all that hard work paid off. She would definitely talk to the leader as soon as possible and make sure to mention how great of a warrior that Ravenpaw had become.

the apprentice shook his pelt as he walked away from the windclan camp, a few bit of grass that had been stuck with in his fur falling to the ground as he did so. just a few second prior, the tom had been laying in the sun, his dark pelt attracting most of the sun rays, enjoying the heat for once. not long ago it had been leaf-bare, cold and unpleasant for most of all cats, one of those being ravenpaw, mostly due to his short coat. and the fact that prey is hard to find and catch. plus the stuff you find is as skinny as a stick. he thought in sarcasm to himself, shaking his head one more time as he walked on. one way or another, the apprentice was happy it was new-leaf now. hunting was his forte, so he would definitely have plenty to do, plus he was sure that he would be made was warrior in about a moon now, if not, less. and having to sit vigil in his nice weather will surely be great. he told himself.
the tom was heading to the training area in the barren moors, where he was to meet his mentor, lionpelt. though he was a great hunter, ravenpaw was really only a decent fighter. he knew all of the basics and some advanced moves, but he had never really been good at utilizing himself during a battle. plus the fact that i have almost not defensive skills. he thought, dropping his head for a moment. i hoping i can work on that today with lionpelt. the cat's limber limbs moved smoothly across the moor as he came closer to his destination, already smelling the fresh scent of his mentor near-by. he was glad that he was given lionpelt as a mentor when he had first become an apprentice. she truly was a very talented warrior with lots of skill and lots to teach. plus, not to mention that she was the clans deputy, so that made her even extra qualified in ravenpaw's eye.
he was only a few fox-lengths away now, lionpelt in his sight as his passed over a small hill. he called out to her, "hey lionpelt, i hope i haven't left you waiting too long." he wasn't much sure of the time at the moment, but ti was around noon, maybe a bit after. he wasn't usually one to be late, but he was sure it was only by a minute, maybe less. "or she just got her early." he thought with a small chuckle to himself. typical of lionpelt to come early because she certainly wasn't one to be late for he had never seen her late to anything. it was only a could more moment before ravenpaw came up beside lionpelt, laying his haunches down as he sat, a curious look in his eyes. "so . . ." he started, a grin on his face because of the forthcoming training, "what will we be doing today?"
